If after the first day of July in any year, the licensee being still in occupation of the land, shall neglect to pay the rent within seven days therefrom, the Chief Commissioner shall cause him to be served with a notice demanding immediate payment of the half yearly instalment of the rent, and if after seven other days from the service of the notice the rent shall still remain unpaid, it shall be lawful for the Board to issue a warrant directed to a constable to levy the amount so due together with the expenses of the process, by distress and sale of a sufficient part of the plant and machinery or other goods and chattels of the licensee, in like manner as in case of rent in arrear between landlord and tenant.

General.

If any person holding a licence to cut timber whether by hand or machinery, shall be proved before the Board to have offended against any regulations herein contained respecting timber, or to have wilfully or negligently injured or destroyed by fire or otherwise any timber belonging to the Crown, such license shall be, and shall be immediately declared to be forfeited, and it shall be at the discretion of the Board to refuse to allow the issue of another licence to the some person.
