ANNUAL ELECTION OF COUNCILLORS AND AUDITORS.
For the period commencing August 1, 1875.
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby Given, that the Nomination of Candidates for election to the offices of Councillors and Auditors, as above, for Dunedin City, will be declared on Wednesday, the 28th day of July instant, at the Terrace of the Provincial Council Chambers, Water street, at the hour of 12 o'clock noon.
Nominations, in form of Schedule D of the "Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance, 1865," may be lodged at the Town Clerk's Office, Manse st., (where blank forms may be obtained), on or before noon of the day herein fixed for the declaration.
The Councillors retiring are—
For South Ward—Councillors H. S. Fish, junior, and Evan Prosser
For High Ward—Councillors William Barron and Andrew Mercer
For Bell Ward—Councillors John Carroll and Richard Henry Leary
For Leith Ward—Councillors Peter Gibson and Charles S. Reeves
Both Auditors retire.
Two (2) Councillors to be elected by each of the four Wards.
Two (2) Auditors to be elected by the whole City.

CORPORATION OF PORT CHALMERS.
Annual Election of Councillors and Auditors, for the period commencing August 1st, 1875.
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby Given that the nomination of candidates for election to the offices of councillors and auditors, as above, for the Town of Port Chalmers, will be declared on Monday, the 26th July instant, at the Town Hall, Currie-street, at the hour of twelve o'clock noon.
Nominations, in form of Schedule D of the "Otago Municipal Corporation Ordinance, 1865," may be lodged at the Town Clerk's Office, Currie-street (where blank forms may be obtained), on or before noon of the day herein fixed for the declaration.
The Councillors retiring by rotation are:—
For South Ward—Councillor Alexander McKenzie.
For Middle Ward—Councillor Thomas Rose.
For East Ward—Councillor Angus McGregor
For High Ward—Councillor James Menelaus.
Both Auditors retire.
One (1) Councillor to be elected for each of the four wards.
Two (2) Auditors to be elected by the whole town.

£100 REWARD.
WHEREAS some evil disposed person or persons did, on the night of the 11th, or on the morning of the 12th July, 1875, break the lock used for securing the switches of the Green Island Branch Railway, and also so place the said switches as to cause on the said 12th July the 7.30 Green Island train to be turned from the main line to the said branch line, notice is hereby given that the above reward of one hundred pounds sterling will be paid to any person or persons, not being in any way implicated, who will give such information as will lead to the conviction of the offenders.

LOST from the Survey Camp, McCormack's Creek, Shag Valley, in December last, a Bay Saddle Mare, branded XH, or cross before H, on off shoulder, and standing about 15 hands in height.
The above reward will be paid if brought to Naseby, or half that amount if such information is given as will lead to recovery.

To Henry M'Kay, or owner of section 36, block II, Tuturau District.
TAKE NOTICE, that I desire the boundary or separating Fence, between section 7, block I, and section 36, block II, Tuturau District, to be made on or before the 1st day of September next, said fence to consist of stakes with four wires, three sod bank, and double ditch.

IMPOUNDED on the 13th day of July, 1875, by John Hight—
1 bay horse, no visible brand, shod all round, with star in forehead, and snipe nose, with a new cover on.
Owners unknown, for trespassing on grass paddock at Waimatuku, for which twenty shillings are claimed, and in default of being released, the above horse will be sold at the Public Pound at Islabank, on Friday, the 13th day of August, 1875, at 12 o'clock noon.
