And whereas by an Ordinance of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of the Province of Otago, intituled "The Executive Council Ordinance, 1861," it is provided that the Superintendent of the said Province shall, in the administration of the Government thereof, act by and with the advice and consent of an Executive Council.
And whereas certain powers vested in the Governor or the Governor in Council by "The Diseased Cattle Act, 1861," and "The Diseased Cattle Act Amendment Act, 1865," may be delegated to the Superintendent of any Province:
Now therefore, Sir George Grey, K.C.B., the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the Colony, doth hereby delegate to the Executive Government of the Province of Otago, all such powers within the said Province as are by "The Diseased Cattle Act, 1861," and "The Diseased Cattle Act Amendment Act, 1865," vested in the Governor or the Governor in Council, and by virtue thereof may be delegated, to have and exercise such powers within the said Province, subject to the provisions of "The Governor’s Delegations Act, 1867."
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir George Grey, Knight Commander of the Most Honorable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander in Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, at the Government House, at Wellington, and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, this twelfth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between us the undersigned, Allan King and Daniel Forrest as Flour and Oatmeal Millers, at Green Island, near Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, New Zealand, under the firm of "King and Forrest," was, on the sixteenth day of this present month of November, dissolved by mutual consent. The business will in future be carried on by the said Allan King alone, and all debts due and owing to or by the late firm, will be received and paid by the said Allan King.

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Valuators’ Assessment for year 1868 has been submitted to the City Council, and allowed; that the same is deposited at my office, City Council Chambers (new Post-office Building, Princes street), and may daily inspected between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. by any person interested therein.
It is further notified that any appeals against the assessment may be lodged at the Council Chambers (where blank forms may be had) on or before the 18th day of December, 1867: and a copy of each notice of appeal must be delivered by the appellant to the Clerk of the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Dunedin, six clear days before the day of hearing.

THE UNDERSIGNED THOMAS FRASER, J., hereby make application to Register the "Manuherikia Water Race Company," registered under the provisions of the "Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:
The name and style of the Company is "The Manuherikia Water Race Company, Registered."
The place of operations is at Manuherikia.
The nominal capital of the Company is three thousand five hundred pounds, in seven hundred shares of five pounds each.
The amount already paid up is one thousand pounds.
The name of the Manager is Thomas Fraser.
The Office of the Company is in Victoria Chambers, Manse street, Dunedin.
