Colonial Secretary’s Office,

Auckland, 29th October, 1851.

TENDERS will be received at this office until noon on Monday, the 10th of November next, for the supply of about 14 fathoms of ¾ CHAIN, with two shackles, for the use of the Harbour Department.

Further particulars may be obtained from the Acting Harbour Master.

Total amount of Notes in circulation at the Office of the “Colonial Bank of Issue,” in Auckland, on the 18th day of Oct., 1851, being the close of the preceding four weeks:—

I, Alexander Shepherd, the Colonial Treasurer, do hereby certify that the above is a true account, as required by the Ordinance, No. 16, Session 8.

Auckland, 24th October, 1851.

TENDERS will be received at this Office until noon on Monday, the 3rd day of November next, from persons desirous of contracting for the excavation, at per cubic yard, of a quantity of Earth in Queen Street.

Further information may be obtained by applying to the Clerk of Works, Royal Engineer Office.

The Public are hereby informed that the corrected Ward Lists for the Borough of Auckland, can be seen at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, daily, between the hours of ten and four o’clock, P.M.

IMPOUNDED in the Public Pound, Hobson’s Bridge,

a red Poley Cow, sit in ear, like M & A D off rump; a red Heifer, white face, no brand legible; and a strawberry Heifer, no brand legible.

If not claimed, will be sold at the pound at noon of the 24th day of November, 1851.
