I, THE UNDERSIGNED, Robert Preston Bain, hereby make application to register the MATAKITAKI DREDGING COMPANY, REGISTERED, under the provisions of the Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865, the Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, Amendment Act, 1869, and the Mining Companies Limited Liability Act Amendment Act, 1870; and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is to the best of my belief and knowledge true in every particular, namely:—

The name and style of the Company is the Matakitaki Dredging Company, Registered.

The place of intended operations is at the Matakitaki River, in the province of Nelson.

The nominal capital of the Company is four hundred pounds in forty shares of ten pounds each.

The amount paid-up is £105 in cash and £70 in paid-up shares.

The name of the manager is Robert Preston Bain.

The office of the Company is at Trafalgar-street, Nelson.
