NOTICE TO MARINERS.

NELSON HARBOUR LIGHT.

ON and after Monday, the 11th instant, the Red Light hitherto exhibited at the entrance of the Harbour will be discontinued, and a WHITE LIGHT substituted in the same position.

IN accordance with the provisions of the Waste Lands Regulations, notice is hereby given that the undermentioned Claim will be heard at the Office of His Honor the Superintendent, on MONDAY, the 8th of June next, at Noon :—

George Macrae ... To a Block of Land at the western end of his Run at the Awatere, bounded by the White Cliff River.

APPLICATIONS for Depasturage Licenses, in accordance with the Land Regulations of July 1st, 1856, received by the Commissioner of Crown Lands, during the month of MARCH, 1857.

Thomas Carter ... District—The Clarence.
Boundaries—On the South, by the Valley of the Styx and Leaderdale, and extending up the Clarence, including the whole valley to Lake Tennyson.
Estimated extent—Under Ten Thousand Acres (10,000).
Deposit paid—£15.
