PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY.
All Public Notifications which appear in this Gazette, with any Official Signature thereunto annexed, are to be considered as Official Communications made to those Persons to whom they may relate, and are to be obeyed accordingly.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified, that he has been authorised to remit sentences of Imprisonment for short periods, as also Fines, Penalties, and Forfeitures, not exceeding Twenty Pounds in amount, which may accrue or become payable to the Crown, whenever any circumstances may appear to his Honor to warrant any such remission.

SIRβWe, the undersigned inhabitants of the settlement of Nelson, are desirous of addressing you upon the occasion of your retiring from the position of Superintendent of the Province.
