Declaring Depasturing Licenses Forfeited.
WHEREAS the amounts due under-
Depasturing License dated the sixteenth
day of January, 1854, made out in
the name of John Food Wilson for
the Run in the District of Wairau
Valley within the following bound-
aries :—"Eastward by the Western
boundary of the Run held by G.
Duppa, Esquire; Northward by the
River Wairau; Westward by the
Wairau Gorge; Southward by the
Birch Hills;"
Depasturing License dated the first day
of January, 1854, made out in the
name of George Duppa for the Run
in the District of Wairau Valley
within the following boundaries :—
"Northward by the land awarded to
Mr. Duppa, but not yet confirmed
by the Government; Eastward by
the Little Wye River, the boundary
between Mr. Morse's Run and the
Birch Hill Run; Southward by the
Birch Hill ranges; Westward by a
line running from the westernmost
point of the land awarded to Mr.
Duppa as above, stated till it strikes
the Western arm of the Branch
River;" and
Depasturing License dated the sixteenth
day of April, 1864, made out in the
name of John Octavius Western,
for the Run in the District of
Pelorus Sound, estimated to contain
4,600 acres, within the following
boundaries :—"Towards the North
by Crown land; towards the East
by the Run licensed to Robert Blay-
mires; towards the South partly
by freehold land, and partly by
the waters of Kenepuru Sound; and
towards the West partly by the
waters of Kenepuru Sound and
partly by freehold land"—
have been in arrear and unpaid for three
calendar months; I, James Balfour Wemyss,
the Commissioner of Crown Lands for the
Province of Marlborough do hereby declare
the said Licenses forfeited.
Dated at the Office of the Com-
missioner of Crown Lands at
Blenheim, this fourth day of
April, one thousand eight
hundred and sixty-six.

I HEREBY give notice that the Runs,
the Licenses of which have this day
been declared forfeited, will be put up to
Auction and offered to be let by public
competition to the highest bidder, at the
Survey Office, Blenheim, at noon on Mon-
day, the 28th May next ensuing, in accord-
ance with the Land Regulations in force in
this Province.

Crown Lands this day :—

Caverhill | Boundaries.—On the North,
North-East and East, by
the coast line from the
mouth of the river Conway,
to a point six miles North-
ward in a direct line, and
thence by a straight line
due West for one mile;
on the South by the Con-
way from the coast to a
point one mile inward; and
on the West by a straight
line from the last-men-
tioned point to a point one
mile West of the extreme
Northern point of the coast-
line—being the Block of
land reserved by the Nelson
Government in October,
1854, as a Shearing Reserve,
and Un-reserved by the
Superintendent of Marlbo-
rough, vide Gazette of 27th
February, 1866—excepting
the Maori and Government
Reserves within the above
limits.
Estimated extent. 6000 acres.
Deposit paid.—£15.
