PROCLAMATION.

By his Honor William Henry Eyes,
Esquire, Superintendent of the
Province of Marlborough, in the
Islands of New Zealand, &c., &c., &c.

WHEREAS certain portions of the
lands of the Crown within the
Province of Marlborough have been from
time to time set aside for various public
purposes, under the provisions of the regulations for the sale and disposal of the
Waste Lands of the Crown within the said
Province: And whereas such lands have
never been granted to the Superintendent
of the said Province; and whereas it is
expedient that such lands so set aside should
be exempted from such reservation,
and dealt with for the purposes of sale, or otherwise, in accordance with the provisions of
the aforesaid regulations:

Now, therefore, I, William Henry Eyes,
Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of
Marlborough, do hereby proclaim and notify
that the pieces or parcels of land set forth
in the Schedule hereunto annexed shall be
deemed to be, and the same shall be from
the date hereof Waste Lands of the Crown,
and shall be dealt with in accordance with
the provisions of the Land Regulations in
force within the said Province.

Given under my hand, and issued
under the Public Seal of the
Province, at Blenheim, this
twenty-third day of February,
in the year of Our Lord One
thousand eight hundred and
sixty-six.
