The fare to be as follows:—For foot passengers, sixpence each, between the hours above named, when the punt can be worked by a rope; and one shilling when the rope cannot be worked. For every horse ten shillings. Officers of the Supreme Court, Magistrates, and police constables on duty, and prisoners, to be ferried free of charge. To afford every assistance in his power in directing strangers to a safe fording across the river. To keep a fairly written copy of the charges posted in some conspicuous place.

Officers of the Supreme Court, Magistrates, and Police Constables on duty, to be ferried free of charge. To afford every assistance in his power in directing strangers to a safe fording across the river.
