No. 407, in red.—Two thousand acres (more or less), situate in the river-bed of the Wilberforce, being bounded on the north-west by reserve in red No. 405, extending on either side of the fords, being a rectangular block, about sixty-eight chains from north to south, and about three hundred chains from east to west, including the river bed of the Wilberforce.—For the uses of the Provincial Government, and particularly for a ferry, road, and railway.
No. 408, in red.—Two thousand acres (more or less), situate at the crossing of the Rakaia on Palmer’s track, commencing at the south-western corner of section No. 8043; thence north-westerly, following the northern bank of the river, and a line in continuation of the same, a distance of three hundred chains, and extending back north-easterly a distance of about sixty chains, in a rectangular block, including the river-bed of the Rakaia.—For the uses of the Provincial Government, and particularly for a ferry and road.

No. 410, in red.—One thousand acres (more or less), in the Oxford District, extending from Reserve No. 399 (in red), to the gorge of the Waimakariri, being half a mile wide on each side of the road leading from Oxford forest to the gorge before mentioned.—For the uses of the Provincial Government, and particularly for a road and railway.

No. 414, in red.—All that tract of land, one mile wide, extending from the north-western boundary of reserve No. 401 (in red), near Lake Constance, and passing through the Lake Selfe Valley, to the south-eastern boundary of reserve No. 404 (in red), at the head of Wilberforce Valley, near Sebastopol, also a branch of the same, forty chains wide, leaving the above-described reserve near Lake Georgina, passing along the north-eastern shore of Lake Coleridge, to the head of the Wilberforce Valley, near Sebastopol, save and except reserves already made, and freehold land purchased to date.—For the uses of the Provincial Government, and particularly for a road and railway.
No. 415, in red.—Three hundred and fifty acres (more or less), on either side of the river Moa, being bounded on the east by reserve No. 405 (in red), and on the north-west and south-west by the base of the hills.—For the uses of the Provincial Government, and particularly for a township.
No. 416, in red.—Five hundred acres (more or less), south-west of and adjoining reserve No. 408 (in red), extending on the average one hundred chains from north to south, and fifty chains from east to west.—For the uses of the Provincial Government, and particularly for a ferry.
No. 417, in red.—All that tract of land, one mile wide, extending from the north-western boundary of Reserve No. 401 (in red), near the river Moa, to the Wilberforce branch of the Rakaia.—For the uses of the Provincial Government, and particularly for a road.
No. 418, in red.—The river-bed of the southern branch of the Rakaia, and flats on either side, from the Lake Heron stream to the valley leading to Whitcombe’s Pass, and that valley to the top of the Pass, being thirty chains in width.—For the uses of the Provincial Government, and particularly for a road.
No. 459, in red.—All that tract of land, half-a-mile wide, extending from the River Acheron to Reserve No. 408 (in red), and bounded on the south-westward by the northern bank of the Rakaia.—For the uses of the Provincial Government, and particularly for a railway.
No. 460, in red.—All that tract of land, half-a-mile wide, extending from Reserve No. 405 to Reserve No. 414 (in red), and bounded on the north-eastward by the Wilberforce branch of the Rakaia.—For the uses of the Provincial Government, and particularly for a railway.
No. 467, in red.—All that tract of land, one chain wide, extending from the northern bank of the Kowai, in a northerly direction, along the side of the terrace, and passing through Sections 4769, 2912, 4074, 4789, 5071, 7050, and 7054, and terminating at the northern boundary of the latter section; subject, nevertheless, to the freehold land purchased to date.—For the uses of the Provincial Government, and particularly for a road and railway.
No. 468, in red.—All that tract of land, twenty chains wide, extending from the northern boundary of Section 7054, and passing in a northerly direction on the western side of the Rakaia.—For the uses of the Provincial Government.
