(a) DECLARATION.— I, J. F. Hindley, for E. B. Walker, of View Hill, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 17 in number, marked ——, on board of the vessel "Tararua," Hagley, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me at Lyttelton, this 5th day of February, 1867.— WILLIAM VALFREY, Inspector of Sheep.

(b) DECLARATION.— I, Thomas Ritchie of Lyttelton, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 120 in number, marked —— on board of the vessel "Despatch," John Donohue, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
