(a) DECLARATION.—I, Davis Canning, of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the Sheep 506 in number, marked —, now being depastured by me at the Hurunui, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within three months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

DAVIS CANNING.

Declared before me at Ilam’s, this 27th day of September, 1866.—R. RAMSAY SCARVELL, Inspector of Sheep.

(b) DECLARATION.—I, T. R. Collisson, of Leeston, do hereby solemnly declare that I have made a complete muster of all the Sheep in my charge, and that my Sheep, branded —, being 1,400 in number, now being at Leeston, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within three months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(c) DECLARATION.—I, Donald McLean, of Acton Station, Rakaia, do hereby solemnly declare that my Sheep, branded —, being 11,400 in number, now being at Acton Station, have not within two months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within two months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me at Acton, this 12th day of September, 1866.—R. F. HOLDERNESS, Inspector of Sheep.

(d) DECLARATION.—I, James Drife, of Ashburton, do hereby solemnly declare that I have made a complete muster of all the Sheep in my charge, and that my Sheep, branded —, being 13,000 in number, now being at Ashburton, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within three months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me at Ashburton, this 14th day of September, 1866.—R. F. HOLDERNESS, Inspector of Sheep.

(e) DECLARATION.—I, Arthur Dobson, of Mount Hutt, do hereby solemnly declare that I have made a complete muster of all the Sheep in my charge, and that my Sheep, branded —, being 12,000 in number, now being at Mount Hutt, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within three months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
