This sum includes £119 18s. 11d. for alterations to Hospital “Reciepts,” the actual expenditure has been £51 6s. 8d.

a. Of this sum, £2 3s. 7d. has been refunded—see “Receipts.”

b. The General Government has been allowed to retain the Poundage fees, since 30th June last in aid of Salary.

c. Includes £400 towards expenses of Road, South of Christchurch.

d. The Harbour Master has been allowed to retain the money shown in the Quarterly Statement for March, 1855. See Gazette, No. 18, Vol. 4.

e. This sum is less than that shown in the Bank Commission for transmitting the money to Nelson.

f. The General Government refunded this sum, excepting £3 15s. 0d.
