NOTICE OF TIMES AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING CLAIMS.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at Opotiki, Bay of Plenty on the 4th day of December next, and following days.

SCHEDULE

Name of Claimant Name and Locality of Block Boundaries of the lands as translated from the claims. Place where Plan will be deposited for public inspection.
Te Manihera Maiki, Ranapia, Te Waihaku, Rawiri Tuahine and Paora Toia To Haka-o-te-Mauru, Motu, Opotiki The boundary commences at Whakapaupakihi and goes along in the Motu River to Te Haka-o-te Mauru, Ngamarino, Kaitaura Te Tukuroa, (here leaves the river) Pakihi Te Rewa, Mangakakaho, and on to the Government boundary, turns here and goes on to Mouiohora—a hill—and Whakapaupakihi where it ends The maps of these lands as have been surveyed can be seen at the Office of the Inspector of Surveys, Auckland.
Wiremu Kingi Tutahurangi, Hoera Katipo, Romana Tantai, Hemi Te Ruawhakato, Hori Karepatata, Taniu, Arapata Putiki, Kereama Tautahi, Te Puni, and Haniera Taniara Oroi, Mota, Opotiki The boundary commences at the Government boundary opposite Mangakakaho and goes inland to Te Rangitikitiki and to the Motu River, then goes by that river to Maromaku, Tangakakariki, Waikato, Peketutu, Te Waitawa, Te Paroa, and Te Paku, then turns towards the sea and comes out on the beach at Hewai
Te Awanui, Piahana Tiwai, Tainupa, Eru Waikapu, Paora Te Ua-o-te-rangi, Ihaapata Korote, Hori Winia, Hoera Pouka, Enoka Tamawhaina, and others Kaitaura, Motu, Opotiki The boundary commences at Kaitaura and goes along in the Motu River to Peketutu, then turns towards the sea and goes up to Te Tipi, Ngawhakatatara, Rawea, Te Pohatu-a-te-Kahu-rangi, and Oroi, then goes on by the Government boundary to Mangakakaho, thence to the starting point at Kaitaura
