NATIVE LANDS COURT.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at Tauranga, on the 12th day of September next and following days.

SCHEDULE.

Name of Claimant. Name and locality of Block. Boundaries of the lands as translated from the claims. Place where Plan will be deposited for public inspection.
Rota, Rangihoro, Te Puehu, Wi Matene, and others Kaikokopu, near Maketu Bounded on one side by the Waihi harbour, the Pongakawa river is another boundary, the Kaikokopu River another boundary, another boundary runs in the forest from Kaikokopu to Pongakawa, as shown on the Surveyor's map. The Maps of such of these lands as have been surveyed, can be seen in the Court-house of the Resident Magistrate, Tauranga.
Rota, Te Puehu, Wi Matene, and others Otamarakau, near Maketu Bounded on the North-west by the sea; on the East by Te Wharewa and a straight line to Otitapu; on the South by a surveyed line straight from Otitapu to Rotoma, to Rotoehu, and continues on to the Pongakawa river; the other boundary is the Pongakawa river as shown on the map of the survey.
Rota and others, Pererika, Tauaru and others Waihi No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, near Maketu The boundary is the harbour of Waihi, and goes to Te Pao, Waikato, to Tarahu, to Ohara, to Pawhariki; Kahurangi, Runuku, and Orakeiwairos, are included in the boundary.
Wi Matene and others, Hohepa Rokoroko and others, Arama Karaka and others Te Haehaenga, near Maketu and Matata The boundary is the Tarawera river, and goes on to the Tarawera swamp, and to the other side to Okataina, continues on the portion of Otamarakau which Rota and others claimed, i.e., Whakarewa, it comes out on the sea coast, and goes into the Tarawera river, as shown on the Surveyor's map.
Arihia Kahawai, and others Otairoa, near Maketu It is surveyed; the boundaries are shown on the map.
Makuini Kahawai, and others Te Rahui, near Maketu It is surveyed; the boundaries are shown on the map.
Te Tipitipi, Wikiriwhi, Matataia, Tiritia and Kiwha Ohineahuru, near Maketu Te Hura owns the land on the South side, on the East Rirituku's land; on the West, Te Kupapa's land; it is a small piece situate at Maketu.
