PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 8th September, 1869.

THE following charges, and no more, shall be levied upon persons crossing the Public Ferry at RAGLAN:—

From sunrise until sunset,
For each person ... sixpence
„ horse, mule, or head of neat cattle ... one shilling

From sunset till ten o’clock, p.m. one-half additional charge may be made, and from ten o’clock, p.m. until sunrise, double fare may be charged.

All Officers of the General or Provincial Government when on duty, and all Carriers of Her Majesty’s mails, together with their horses, mail bags, boxes, &c., shall be exempt from the payment of these charges.

I, THE undersigned, William Rowe, hereby make application to register “The Great European Gold Mining Company (Registered)” under the provisions of “The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865,” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is “The Great European Gold Mining Company (Registered).”

  2. The place of operations is the Thames Goldfield.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Twenty-five thousand Pounds, in Twelve thousand five hundred shares of Two Pounds each.

  4. The amount already paid up in cash is Three hundred pounds, and the amount allotted in partly paid up shares is Twenty-one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five Pounds.

  5. The name of the Manager is William Rowe.

  6. The Office of the Company is in Pollen-street, Shortland.

  7. The names and addresses of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date are as follow, namely:—
