Applications for any of the lands set forth above, to be made in writing before Friday, the 26th day of April, 1867.

"The purchase money after the rate of ten shillings an acre for the quantity of land applied for shall be paid to a Receiver of Land Revenue, who shall give a receipt in duplicate, and no application shall be entertained unless one of such duplicate receipts shall be annexed to the application."

I HEREBY notify for the information of all persons concerned, that in conformity with the provisions of the Crown Lands Ordinances, (No. 1, Session 10, and No. 10, Session 11) I have convened meetings of the holders of Depasturing Licenses in the several undermentioned Hundreds, and that the persons whose names are subjoined have been duly elected by such holders to be Wardens under the said Ordinances for the current year:--

For the Hundred of Onetiunga:
Henry Lavery, John Colledge, and Henry Briarly.

For the Hundred of Panmure:
John Kerr, James Brown, and William Head.

For the Hundred of Howick:
Patrick Fitzpatrick, William Campbell, and William Andrew.

NOTICE TO MARINERS

CHANGE IN CHANNEL OVER BAR OF HOKIANGA RIVER

Harbour Office, Auckland, 15th February, 1867.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Channel over the Bar, at the entrance of Hokianga River (as laid down in Captain Drury’s survey), has lately shoaled to even seven (7) feet at low water, and is no longer safe to enter.

The proper entrance now for vessels is by a new channel which has opened, about two (2) cables length to the southward of the old one, having a breadth of one and a half (1Β½) cables length, and a depth of eighteen (18) feet at low water.
