SCHEDULE B.

FEES TO BE CHARGED BY POUNDKEEPERS.

I.—Poundage Fees.

The above fees to be paid for each day, or part of a day, during which the animal is kept in pound.

II.—Charges for Food.

The above charges to be paid for each day or part of a day, during which the animal is supplied with food and water by the Poundkeeper but the owner may supply food and water, in which case these charges are not to be made.

III.—Charges for giving notice of Impounding.

The charge for giving notice of the impounding of Cattle to the owner thereof or his agent shall be computed at the rate of one shilling for every mile or part of a mile of the distance between the public pound and the usual place of residence of such owner or agent, as the case may be.

IV.—Charges for giving public notice under the 20th Section of the said Act of the Impounding of Cattle.

SCHEDULE C.

TOWNS AND VILLAGES COMING UNDER THE OPERATION OF THE ACT, AND THEIR LIMITS.

1. TOWN OF AUCKLAND.

Commencing at the South side of Drake-street in Freeman’s Bay at its junction with the West side of Franklin-street, thence along the North side of Drake-street and the high-water line to the North side of Custom House-street, thence along the North side of Custom House-street to Point Britomart, thence along the high-water line round Point Britomart, Official Bay, Mechanic’s Bay, St. George’s Bay, Judge’s Bay to Point Resolution on the North:—Thence along the line of high-water mark in Hobson’s Bay to the mouth of the creek running from Hobson’s Bridge on the East:—Thence along the said creek to the Eastern side of the Epsom Road to the Kyber Pass Road, thence crossing the Epsom Road along the Southern side of the Kyber Pass Road to Symonds-street, thence crossing Symonds-street along the Western side of Symonds-street, to the Karangahape Road, thence along the Southern side of the Karangahape Road to the Ponsonby Road, thence along the Southern side of the Ponsonby Road to the West side of Franklin-street on the South:—And thence along the West side of Franklin-street to the point of departure in Freeman’s Bay on the West.

2. TOWN OF ONEHUNGA.

Commencing at Kelly’s brick house, from thence along the road to Beatie’s corner, thence to Murdock’s corner, and from Murdock’s corner down Queen-street to the Police Barracks, and from thence along the road to the Royal Hotel; And also all that other highway or public place being the road from Beatie’s corner between Sections 32 and 49 of the said Town and Section 33 and 55 of the said Town to the Beach.

3. TOWN OF RUSSELL.

All that part of the said Town, or of the said town and its suburbs (as the case may be) the boundaries of which are as follows, viz., commencing from Mataui Bay by Brinds Road and Gould-street to the upper end of the Roman Catholic Burial Ground, thence by the cut Survey Line to Mr. Bateman’s fence, along which to the Flagstaff, and thence down the Stream to the watering place, whence by the Beach to the starting point at Mataui Bay.

4. TOWN OF HAMILTON.

All those parts of the said town, the boundaries of which are as follow, viz.:

HAMILTON EAST.

Bounded on the South-Eastern side by the town belt, commencing at a reserve on the Waikato River, and continued along the South-Eastern boundary of that reserve, and a road in continuation of that boundary, one chain wide along lots 348 and 189; on the North-Eastern side, also by the town belt, distant one chain from lots 189 to 390; on the North-Western side by a road along the
