HUNDRED OF ONEHUNGA.

Auckland, August 9, 1859.

THE following Bye-law is published for general information.

Commissioner of Crown Lands.

At a meeting of the Wardens of the Hundred of Onehunga, all present at their office, Queen-street, Onehunga, it was agreed as a Bye-law that any person or persons allowing Pigs to run at large in any portion of the township or within the defines of the above Hundred shall forfeit and pay for each offence two shillings and sixpence for each offence.

IMPOUNDED at the Public Pound, Newmarket, by Thomas Sherson, for trespass and damages in his enclosed paddock at Remuera.

One Red and White Cow, (no visible brand).

One Red and White Boley Steer, white face, (no visible brand).

One White Steer, branded like YS (conjoined) on rump.

One White Heifer, branded like YS (conjoined) on rump.

One Strawberry Heifer, white streak down the face, (no visible brand).

Damages 5s. each. Owners unknown.

It not claimed within 11 days after the date of this notice, application will be made to a Justice of the Peace for an order for the sale of the above mentioned Cattle, agreeably to the provisions of the “Impounding Act, 1856.”
